How to Enjoy New Year's Eve at home with kids

You really like News year's Eve and want to go out to celebrate with spouse or friends, but you have children and don't have a babysitter or prefer not to leave your kids in the care of others. You now have to stay home for New Years Eve. Well now you have a chance to have fun with the whole family. Get everyone up off the computers, tv, and phones and get them involved. Let go and be in the moment and enjoy the last moments of the year because it will never be this year again.

Decorate the house
Decorations always bring the holiday spirit and sets a good environment. There are decorates available for purchase at the stores. If low on funds or want to make them (hand made is always fun, plus you can get the kids to help). Time to pull out the paper, tape, and markers and get creative.

Make new years resolutions

Get everyone to write down what they want this new year to be like, what they want to achieve this year. It would be fun to tell each others resolutions. When you think of your goals and wants your already on your way to reaching it. Put in action and you will see results. Bring your dreams true, only you can.

Have a good meal

Cook a good dinner for you and your family, last dinner of the year. Spice it up with some sparking cider for the kids and some wine for the adults, but make sure not to get drinks mixed up. We don't want a bunch of drunk kids running around, need I even say it makes a mother look bad but, hey things happen. Why not bring out some snacks, they are always great for parties.

play games

Playing games is a fun way to spend time with your kids. Kids absolutely love playing games, especially with adults(well my younger sister and nephew does anyways lol). Come up with games that sparks the interest of all individuals. Play games that you guys have never played before. Some other great activities are,

-Building with cardboard

-Card games

-Board games

countdown

When it's time, grab the poppers or get ready to give your spouse or special one a big smooch because countdown is ready to begin. Enjoy the New Year!
