Pastels

The best pastels I have used are by Prismacolor, the quality is great.

Prismacolor Nupastel Set, 24 Colored Pastels is the set I own, I wanted to get Prismacolor Nupastel Set, 48 Colored Pastels but my budget only allowed me to get the 24 set. The 48 set has so many different colors.

To really capture the the drawing you need the right paper for  pastels. Strathmore32-Sheet Charcoal Paper Pad, 9 by 12-Inch is good paper for pastels. They say its for charcoal, but charcoal and pastels use the same kind of paper.
